Small beginnings. Big imaginations.

A little wonder.
A world of
possibility.

We build thoughtful digital experiences that help children imagine, create, and grow.

Dreambook’s colorful storybook friends imagining a world of castles, space, and adventure.
A few friends from the world of Dreambook

Their imagination.
Their very own story.

A story creation app where children turn their ideas into illustrated adventures, with characters, worlds, and narration that make each story their own.

  • Give their imagination room to grow.
  • Build confidence through their own choices.
  • Share stories and time together.

Every big idea starts with a little “what if?”

Children are natural storytellers. We’re here to give their ideas somewhere to go.

The best learning feels like play. A new word, a tricky idea, another try: they all become part of the adventure when children are making something they care about. We build tools that give curiosity room to lead, and families something to discover together.

The Chronicle stories Volume I · The company

The time between the pages.

Charles, Andrew, Jennifer and Devon begin a creative adventure around a little blue storybook.
A little book, with time to grow.

Chapter 01 Making time

An idea takes time.

An idea can arrive quite quickly. Dreambook has taken shape as we’ve kept making time for it.

At Chronicle, we want children to have a world they love to create in. That is worth another conversation, another look, another day’s work.

The four Chronicle friends explore a world of folded-paper mountains, trees and a castle unfolding from their book.
Something to look at together.

Chapter 02 Noticing progress

Something begins to grow.

Over the months, we’ve watched ideas become pictures and sounds we can share, revisit and improve. That changes the feeling of the work. There is something here now.

When a piece comes right, we want to enjoy it for a moment. The next thing generally finds us soon enough.

The four friends rest together beneath a paper tree, keeping their place in a blue book with a golden bookmark.
Keeping our place.

Chapter 03 The quieter days

A little room to pause.

In one meeting, we talked about how a productive day could be followed by one when very little happened. A colleague recognised the feeling. There was permission to recuperate, and encouragement to return.

The work still mattered. A bookmark is useful even when you like the book.

The Chronicle friends help one another build a small bridge from revised story pages.
The story is waiting.

Chapter 04 Picking it up again

Returning to the work.

When we return to Dreambook, we have the earlier work to build on. Other people’s ideas have become part of it.

We listen again, make a change and bring another version back. The plan acquires another pencil mark. We’re becoming rather fond of what’s taking shape.

The four Chronicle friends watch a blue paper plane carry their idea beyond an open storybook.
There is room beyond this page.

Chapter 05 A longer view

What the time is for.

Years from now, we hope someone remembers their time with Dreambook: the pleasure of making a story, the feeling of being in a world they loved.

A small part of our working days might become a happy part of someone’s childhood. That is worth coming back for.

Our vision is for Chronicle Creations Inc. to be the leading team of developers in the education technology industry that focuses on early-childhood cognitive development.

Our mission

Help children build literacy, language, and confidence through imagination, while pioneering the safe, responsible use of AI.

Our values

We design for children’s ideas, confidence, and understanding of others.

Imagination

We turn complex technology into accessible, child-friendly tools, giving children the freedom to express their creativity and focus on imagination and storytelling.

Self-paced learning that meets each child at their level. Gentle guidance supports their creative choices, building confidence as they make their own story-building decisions.

Empathy

Stories open a window into different viewpoints. Children explore diverse character motivations and communication, growing their understanding of others through the narratives they create.

Literacy

Artistically driven story creation, supported by narration, welcomes children from their earliest level. No prior reading experience needed: decoding, vocabulary, and comprehension grow through reading that feels like play.

The monsters making DreamBook

A shared belief in children. Several differences of opinion.
Poke a monster. They’ve been expecting a meeting.

Charles David Jameson

Head of Just One More Thing

Founder & CEO

Charles taught in Japan before asking what would happen if children could make their own stories. Dreambook grew from that question. He brings an educator’s care and a founder’s habit of seeing one more possibility. Andrew would like to meet the last possibility.

Andrew Schools

Keeper of the Off Switch

Chief Technology Officer

Andrew brings three decades across mobile apps, games and cloud systems to Dreambook’s technical foundations. He makes the machinery dependable enough for the story to get all the attention. When everything works, Charles likes to celebrate by thinking of something else.

Jennifer Chan

Chief Reality Officer

Chief Financial Officer

With more than twenty years in startups, fundraising and strategic leadership, Jennifer asks the practical questions that give ambitious companies a chance to keep their promises. She likes the flying castle. She’s the one who remembered to leave a ladder out for the postman.

Devon Quelch

Minister of Suspicious Noises

Audio Engineer

A Vancouver-based Foley artist and Dreambook’s audio engineer, Devon gives imagined worlds their footsteps, creaks and little signs of life. Finding those sounds takes a good ear, a patient hand, and occasionally a word of encouragement for a cabbage.
